Oh I already hear the complaints: poor little devs must live on something (maybe I should integrate some ads with my books as well).
Don't get me wrong: I'm not calling to a complete ad boycott. But sometimes there are legit reasons to use an ad blocker. For example,
- ad blocking is digital self-defence
- ad blocking helps against the climate crisis
