Printing

Is it possible to print from your Android device? It is, in multiple ways.

Many of those apps want pretty excessive access to almost all personal data. In most cases, that's explainable by the app's description (print contacts, calendar, call logs) – but honestly: who prints call-logs? When needed, it might be better to export those data and print it selectively. Each on its own, those permissions are not "dangerous". But to access a printer, it requires a network. And who can tell whether data are only sent to the (selected) printer then? At least since the "big sniffing scandal" we know: only irrefutably known facts are ever admitted (and sometimes not even those)…
