Memory Management
If you've expected task killers here, you will be disappointed. Those are not intended to "manage memory" (or free some of it), but rather to manage "undisciplined/rogue" apps. What we're talking about here is to adjust the way Android itself deals with things, especially settings for the OOM killer (no, not "out of money", it's "out of memory"). Android is based on Linux, and so there's the Linux OOM Killer taking care for when what should be freed.
