MediaPlayer is a DLNA client (DMP), which can search for DMS devices, browse resources and play locally. Note that the app refuses to operate if you refuse giving it access to „phone calls“, which is most likely due to the corresponding requirement by Umeng Analytics and not needed for the apps own functionality (the message displayed is in Chinese, which I cannot understand).

Tracking: The application tracks and reports your activity to somewhere – usually either without your consent, or by default (i.e. you’d have to actively disable it). It’s commonly used for when developers obtain crash logs without the user’s consent, or when an app is useless without some kind of authentication.
